General notes regarding reservations
Places may be reserved up to 4 p.m. on the day before the trip:
For requested trips (marked in the timetable with [R]) seat reservations are mandatory, otherwise the buses will not run. For individual passengers the reservation is free of charge. No seat numbers are assigned, only the numbers of reserved seats will be kept free.
The following rail passes/discounts are valid:
- Standard Ticket, ticket for groups, multiple-journey card, point-to-point season tickets and traffic community passes. Junior/grandchildren’s tickets, free tickets
- General Abonnement, 1-day travelpass for Half-Fare travelcard holders, Swiss Pass, Swiss Flexi Pass, discounted travel pass for staff and 1-day travelpass for staff, PostBus routes across the Central Alps are subject to a surcharge. An additional distance-based ticket (Alpine Ticket) is required and can be purchased on the Postbus.
Transport of handicapped people: Not possible on all routes, for information please call +41 (0)58 448 20 08.
Bicycle carry-on possible, reservations required up to 4 p.m. on the day before the trip: Phone +41 (0)58 448 20 08. It is not possible to make reservations for bikes online. It is not possible to purchase day cards for bikes in the postbus.
Reservations required for groups of 10 or more people. It is possible only by phone on +41 (0)58 448 20 08. It is not possible to make reservations for groups online.
