3-Pass Trip from Airolo

 
Travel up and over the Nufenen Pass from Airolo to Gletsch and on past the Rhone glacier to the Furka Pass. At 2,431 metres above sea-level, this pass connects the cantons of Valais and Uri. From Andermatt, the next leg of the trip takes you up the Gotthard Pass. This pass is also known as the "King of Passes" and remains the most widely used north-south link in Europe. Experience the impressive ascent to its summit, take a look at the historic pass road and enjoy the subsequent descent back to Airolo.
