The PostBus region

Tasks

The PostBus region of Eastern Switzerland is responsible for planning and operating PostBus routes on behalf of the Confederation, cantons and municipalities in the cantons of Glarus, Schwyz, St Gallen, Thurgau and both Appenzell cantons. We design innovative concepts for public passenger transport and provide commercial transport solutions.

Vehicle fleet

Our fleet comprises modern vehicles, from minibuses with 8 seats up to double-decker buses with 83 seats. These vehicles operate in regional public transport and local transport, as school and night buses, on tourist routes and for extra trips, rail replacement routes and transfers.
